The Outdoor Explorers ships orders within the United States only. International shipping is not currently available. If that changes, we’ll update this policy accordingly.
This Shipping Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all orders placed through The Outdoor Explorers.
Processing Times

Orders typically process within 1–3 business days.

Some items—especially large, specialty, or vendor-fulfilled products—may require additional processing time.

Pre-order or back-order items will display estimated shipment windows on the product page.
Peak Season Notice:
During holidays or major sales events, processing and delivery times may extend by 1–3 business days due to carrier volume.
Multi-Vendor Fulfillment
We partner with multiple trusted suppliers and manufacturers (including Shopify Collective partners). Because of this:

Orders may ship in multiple packages, even if purchased together

Packages may arrive on different days, based on origin warehouse

Each package will have its own unique tracking number
Tracking updates will be emailed as each package ships.

Shipping Methods & Costs

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on product size, weight, and destination.

Many products include free shipping within the contiguous U.S.

Large or freight-only items (such as kayaks, tents, generators, and other oversized goods) may require a custom shipping quote.
Alaska, Hawaii & U.S. Territories:
Additional shipping charges may apply for these locations.
Custom Shipping Quotes (Freight Items)
For products requiring a freight quote:

You will receive the quote via email within 24–48 hours

Your order will not be processed until you approve the shipping cost

If you decline the quote, you will receive a full refund immediately—no hoops, no hassle
Freight Deliveries (LTL)
Some oversized items ship via LTL freight. Please expect the following:

The carrier will contact you to schedule delivery

Delivery is typically curbside only

Liftgate service is included for most residential deliveries

An adult must be present to receive the shipment

Inspect your items before signing and note any visible damage with the driver
This helps ensure all damage claims are processed swiftly.
Delivery Timeframes

Standard carrier shipments: 3–7 business days

Freight or oversized shipments: 7–14+ business days
Delivery times may vary based on carrier delays, weather, peak seasons, or supplier warehouse location.
Order Tracking
Tracking information is emailed as soon as your item ships.
Orders containing multiple items may result in multiple tracking numbers.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your tracking shows “Delivered,” but you don’t have your package:

Check with neighbors, family, building management, or mailrooms

Look for delivery attempt notices

We will assist with filing a carrier claim and resolving the issue quickly.
Returns & Exchanges
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery.
To qualify for a return, items must be:

Unused, unassembled, and in original packaging

Complete with all accessories, hardware, and manuals

Not listed as final sale or non-returnable (as noted on the product page)
Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect

Prepaid labels are provided for damaged or incorrect orders

Freight return shipping may range from $100–$300+ depending on carrier and item size
To help avoid high freight return fees, we may offer store credit when it makes sense for the customer.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete:

Include photos of the product and packaging

We will arrange a replacement or correction at no cost to you
Taxes & Duties
We ship within the United States only, so international duties do not apply.
U.S. sales tax is calculated at checkout when applicable by state law.
